VaideGame is a competitive touchless game, activated by players’ hand movements. Inspired by the minimalist look of classic vintage games, this immersive experience fills the entire space with vibrant colors as points are accumulated.
This immersive game was comissioned for a brand activation for VaideBet during the festivies of São João in Campina Grande, Paraíba, Brasil. The game occupied a whole room with two large screens. The experience allowed visitors to form teams, collaborate together to increase their scores, and duel against opposing teams in order to collect prizes.
The visuals were geometric and minimalist yet colorful. Players were prompted to hover their hands above the circles until they grow and explode, realising points to the score. Special circles with the yellow color and the brand logo added multiplied points.
With an aesthetic inspired by Atari games and scenography featuring mapped projections, festival visitors could engage in a dynamic and innovative game. Gesture-detecting cameras enable the game to be controlled solely by hand movements, bringing a unique blend of technology and excitement to the event.
