nteractive work of art that emerges from the concepts of participation, exploration and the tension between the real and digital world. In Emoji Cam, the scene of the person interacting is completely taken over by emojis. Through the image of the camera that films the interactor, each specific emoji occupies the space of one pixel of the footage, referencing the color of the object in the real world. Expanding beyond the physical world, the spectator who interacts with this work is immersed in its virtual form when seeing its reflection taken by visual representations coined in the digital world. The work instigates us to reflect on our relationship with social networks and with our own image.
